Directions
For easy carrying and storage, loofahs are shipped flat from the factory. Before use, soak it in warm water for a few minutes, and it will expand into a large round loofah sponge. Rinse the loofah with clean water after each use to remove all soap residue, as leftover soap may cause unpleasant odors. Thoroughly air-dry the loofah after every use by placing it in a well-ventilated area to fully dry out; proper drying helps extend the service life of the loofah.
Disinfect the loofah once a week. You may heat it in a microwave for 30 seconds or boil it in hot water for several minutes. Whichever method you choose, perform disinfection at least once weekly to keep the loofah in good usable condition. It is recommended to replace your loofah every four weeks. After four weeks of use, the loofah will start to wear out and deteriorate. If you fail to disinfect it regularly, the loofah will no longer be safe to use after three weeks. In any case, it is time to get a new loofah for the sake of your health.

Its material is quite tough, and this could cause bleeding, so be careful! Overall, given its price and quality, I really like it!
